69 of the 298 produced J22's were dropped due to accidents. Today's way of looking at it would be a terribly high figure. Unfortunately, it was quite normal for the time. The J22 was a reasonably good aircraft (quite popular with the pilots). However, it was not in the class with the best English, American and German contemporary fighters.

En med dagens sätt att se på saken fruktansvärd hög siffra, dessvärre helt normal med dåtidens mått mätt.J22an var ett relativt bra flygplan (ganska populärt bland piloterna) dock ej i klass med de bästa engelska, amerikanska och tyska samtida jaktplan.
